Description of Office

•           Serves as clerk and custodian of
             records for the Commissioner’s Court
             and constitutional county court.

•           Acts as a recorder and custodian of
            important public records, including all
            bonds, deeds, birth and death
            certificates, assumed names and
            livestock brands, ensuring that records
            are maintained in a secure, archival
            manner.
•           Issues marriage licenses.

•           Serves as chief elections officer.

1st page $25.00 then each page afterwards is $4.00 of the same instrument,
 front and back count as (2) pages
If more than (5) names are to be indexed each are $0.25
Example: (2) page Instrument is $29.00,
 (4) page Instrument is $37.00,
(7) page instrument is $49.00
